Company Secretary Multinational Company

A Multinational company listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange is looking to hire an experienced, knowledgeable and mature Company Secretary,

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain Company secretarial records for the Company;
  • Provide as well as superintend the provision of legal

advisory services to the Company;

  • In conjunction with external lawyers, supervise the

provision of litigation services to the Company;

  • Organize and attend shareholder meetings of the

Company, the board of directors and its committees
meetings,   management  meetings  and   render  all
necessary secretarial services in respect thereof;

  • Advise  on  compliance  issues generally  with  the

applicable laws, rules and regulations;

  • Maintain statutory registers and other records required to

be  maintained   by the  Company  under  subsisting
legislations;

  • Render proper returns and filings and give necessary

notification to all relevant regulatory and statutory bodies
regulating the business of the Company as required by
the law, in particular, the Securities and Exchange
Commission, the Nigerian Stock Exchange and the
Corporate Affairs Com mission;

  • Develop and oversee the systems which ensure that the

Company  complies   with  all   applicable  Codes   of
Corporate Governance, as well as all relevant regulatory
and statutory requirements:

  • Dealing with correspondence, collating information and

writing reports, ensuring decisions reached at meetings
are communicated to the relevant stakeholders;

  • Liaising with the Company's Registrars in attending to

issues relating to the company's shareholder issues and
share transactions such as issuing new shares, arranging
for the payment of dividends and observing relevant legal
requirements thereon;

  • Liaising with the Company's Auditors,  lawyers, tax

advisers, bankers and shareholders; and

  • Performing such other tasks as may be delegated by the

Board of Directors,

Qualifications and Experience

  • LLB Degree from a reputable University
  • BL from the Nigerian Law School
  • A professional Company Secretarial certification or LLM

would be an added advantage

  • Minimum of 1 5 years post call and experience
  • Company secretarial experience, preferably with a listed

company

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Remuneration  for this  highly challenging  executive position shall be market competitive.

Position: Customer Service Supervisor

Role

would require you to engage front-line United and vendor employees to deliver excellent customer service and an on-time quality product, (this will include reviews of the Customer Service team and external vendors regarding performance and complaints and dealing with disciplinary or service level matters). You would also be required to engage and recognize external customers (vendor, agency and customer), as well as providing technical guidance and interpret company policies and procedures and/or vendor/union agreements to assist employees and vendors in performing functional tasks and to ensure that safety, security and services are delivered consistently. You will be expected to monitor performance to ensure that operational goals and cost objectives are met which will require you to communicate effectively to ensure priorities are understood, acted upon and serve as a subject matter expert on service and procedures. You would need to become a Subject matter expert with the security and operational requirements of United at the Airport in Nigeria as well as to assist the Station Manager in performing administrative tasks as necessary. Within this role, it is vital that you maintain positive working relationships with civil authorities, government agencies and act as a liaison between these authorities and United Airlines

Position: The Customer Service Representative

Role:

would entail working with the ground handier to supervise check-in, ramp and baggage operations for the arrival and departure of United flights and ensuring vendor compliance with aft security requirements and regulations. Meeting, boarding flights and assisting customers wherever required. Other duties wi!i include back office administration and full operational supervision to ensure the smooth and professional service to ourcustomers, both internal and external.
